Freaking Out!!!!!!!!

I took the PN nclex on thursday Jan.12 and it is eaten me alive. I live in California so who knows how long its going to take for me to find out the results. The test was out of this world, I am a great student, 3.75GPA and excellant reviews from clinical rotations. The test started off easy then got harder and harder tell I just had to put my head down for a minute and take a breath. I look at which number I was on and it was 99, I got to "100" and answered the question hit next and then it cut off on me. Honestly I can't remember half of the questions I had on there and not sure how I feel about it. Anyone know the wait time for slow-poke California to get your results. Ha-Ha....

THanks to Everyone for letting me vent you guys have been great for me all the way thru school and now and I'm sure the years to come as I continue on in the RN Program. I am greatful to all!!

You did great ! I'm SURE you passed ,Congrats.

I felt the same way when I took my boards and two days later the results were back ....:balloons:

California will take about three weeks or so for you to get your results, that is the average time and it will come only by snail mal for the LVN. Remember that you will still not have a license until you pay the fee for it, you have only paid for the exam, but not the license. All together, you can figure on about one month or so.

Hey.. if it got harder and harder I bet you passed.. no worries.. you would worry if it got easier and easier... call the CA nursing board.. or their website.. see if the results are there... I got my results the next day on the Kentucky board of nursing site.. it was late at night the following day.. but they had it before the pearson vue did.

CAlifornia doesn't post the results of the PN exam like they do in other states. It is handled differently here. You must wait for the letter that states you passed the exam, then you actually pay for the licensing fee of $100. Then you will get a license issued to you.

In California, there is a Board of Registered Nursing, and a different office entirely that handles the LVN policies and licenses.

I'm sure you passed. I took my NCLEX-PN in Ohio and passed with the maximum number of questions. I was totally freaked out but I DID pass and you will too. It would be terrible to have to wait for 3 weeks to get your results. My license number was online within 5 days and I found out that I passed within 48 hours online. That's really wrong to keep you waiting that long I can't believe they do that. But I'm sure you'll be fine:rolleyes:
