footwear

I can't find a pair of good footwear for working days. Have tried the Densko clogs, a bit too high and too heavy. As for the Nike running shoes, they are not airing enough for 13hrs wearing. Any suggestions plz??

I feel like a gnome with the dansko's b/c they look so much like clogs. I heard they are amazing though, however I feel like they will slip right off my feet. I wear Nikes and I actually really like them. The first couple days my feet hurt a little I think because of the laces but once they break in a little I think they should be fine. I am however having the same problem as you...I work 12's and I think I need to let my feet breath a little more...

i love New Balance and Adidas running shoes. they are more breathable than walking shoes. i've tried wearing the crocs, but i feel like they're too flimsy and made my feet hurt at the end of the night.

I actually wear sketchers. i LOVE them, comfy, slip on or step in. i prefer the kinda i can just slid on, but everyone is diff.

i wear nike shox. LOVE them

Dansko professionals. I was skeptical....till I tried them. Best investment I've made in a while! I have super flat feet, arthritic ankle, and weakness in one foot d/t an old sprain. I've had no problems since getting them about a month ago. I was concerned about how heavy they felt, but once you get used to walking in them you barely feel it.

No stinky, sweaty feet either! Since they basically fit like clogs, your feet get aired out while you're walking around.

I swear by my Nike Shox, I love them. A little pricy but well worth it.

I alternate between my Dansko professionals and Nike walking shoes. Gives each a chance to air out.

I have plantar faciitis and I wear custom orthotics in my Nike's but they don't fit in my Dansko's. The arch support in the Dansko's is fine.
