I am in central Connecticut. According to the CDC, we are having a flu outbreak NOW, as is much of the country. There are multiple students ill with fls, which is why I checked. Anyone else?

Here in Texas, we kept hearing that flu season was going to be late this year, but in my area it never really came at all! We had a few cases scatterred about, but nothing major. Lots of strep though. I remember when H1N1 came on the scene it was April...I wonder if the flu strain that is causing this late outbreak is H1N1 or a relatad strain?

According to the CDC, it looks like flu is widespread here in New York. I haven't really been seeing it the office lately, though. I saw a bunch of respiratory illness with high fever in late winter and early spring. Despite having a flu shot, I had a pretty bad flu-like illness myself around that time.

Here in MA we've had a few patients + flu in the Pedi's office where I work, but I've not seen it in the school.
