Flickering Embryo?

Hi, my friend had her first ultra sound today. She thought she was 7wks but the ultra sound shows she is 6wks2days. Also that the embryo is high up in the uterus and that it's flickering...... is this good or bad?? Thanks

Maybe it was the "flash" of the heartbeat. If there was a problem, I'm sure her ob would of told her.

Likely, the "flickering" is movement or the heartbeat. The heartbeat CAN be seen as early as 6-7 weeks' gestation when a skilled practicioner is doing this, particularly via lady partsl u/s. Hopefully, all is good for your friend. Tell her I wish her the best.
