Do any RN's work there and/or have info on the flexchoice program? Thanks.

i'm doing a flex choice at st. john right now. there are 4 flex choice options (1-4) and each choice has different hour, weekend and holiday requirements. i'm doing choice 4 and i"m required to work every other weekend, i have to work like 24 hours per month and one holiday. the pay rate is pretty high though its over $30 dollars an hour.

I work flexchoice too I'm option 608, I have no time committments. I work a full time job at another hospital so this is a good way for me to make extra money. The pay is $41/hr.

I am flex option 2 right now, I have to work 16 hours in a 4 week schedule. I work full time at HFH, but in Jan. I plan to switch to option 7-which pays 41$ an hour no commitment, and system wide. I love that St. John's get paid on the opposite week of HFH, so its like getting paid every week!
Which units do you all prefer working. I currently work in ICU so I would want to stay in ICU or stepdown or behavioral health.
I currently work in short stay unit, but prefer tele or stepdown. I just started working ICU, so in about 6 months I am only going to work for the ICU's at St. John's. I hear there ICU's have less acuity than HFH.
I don't know. Our acuity is high. I had a trauma patient yesterday that kept me busy all night
Yeah, I know what you mean. I love HFH but our ICU compared to some others are quite busy, I am exhausted every day, even on our less busy days. Not to mention I think I sprained my back the other day.
Does anyone have that sheet with the different options that they can PM me?
