FYI, there is a brochure on the FIU Nursing site which briefly discusses the FIU Accelerated Option.

It sounds great that they started this program. They needed another asbn that wasn't super expensive. The only class different from most of the other absn programs is the ethics which most should have time to do over the summer if you don't have it. I figured I would just stay with bc now that I got in for may rather then wait till January. (plus I would rather skip that drive) I would imagine this would be a great program to get into since not a lot of people know about it.

They have the information on their website. They suggest making an appoint with a Pre-Nursing Advisor or A.O. Information Session. Their deadline to apply is approaching July 15th for January start. Hope that is helpful to someone. I know you guys posted this a long time ago but maybe there are others out there wondering.

Hi potential classmates. Looks like I'm in the same boat, applying to both FIU and FAU's accelerated BSN programs. Is there any additional information about the schools or the programs that anyone would like to share?

Yes this accelerated program at FIU is new. If you are applying you will be the first of the cohort, if you are accepted. All I can say is good luck! I checked out the curriculum. Do not even try to hold a job
