First day back to school.....

For those who have started the fall term...how was your 1st day back? Mine was ok...just feeling the pressure. I'm taking A & P I, a nursing assistant skills class (required) and a humanities class. I never knew that handwashing would had so many darn steps! :chuckle I have a feeling this is going to get hairy. :no: I can't believe how much info they put in one A& P class. Hope I do well. :uhoh3: I'm also concerned about next semester as well. Will be starting nursing school with micro and a&p II left to take. :sofahider The competition around here is so crazy that I was scared if I didn't accept my seat it could be a long while before I'd be able to get in again. Has anyone else taken classes along with nursing school? If so is it doable and how long of a time period do you have to finish these classes? I've read some horror stories......:uhoh21:

Mine starts in a week. Just finishing up the summer semester. To me the fall semester is my favorite. I enjoy the weather very much and enjoy studying under the trees :)

Yes, I took classes while in nursing school as the only prereq was chemistry. As a freshman, along with nursing classes, we took Dosage Calc, Anatomy, Human Physiology, Micro, Psychology, Developmental Psych. & Sociology Now in senior year so it's certainly do-able. Only 'outside' course left to take is Ethics this semester.

Mine doesn't start until Sept. 7th! It should get here, already!!! Sounds like your first day was exciting at the least!

I know what you mean. I just love the fall. It reminds me of when I was a kid and would get excited about going back to school. The first day always came and went and then I didn't want to get out of bed. :chuckle

Suzy253..the school I got accepted to has incorporated all the pre-req's along with the nursing courses. Fortunately I have almost all of my pre req's finished. I just hope I can nswing the last 2 pre-req's with nursing. We'll see. :uhoh3:

Re-reading my post I made it sound like the non-nursing courses were all in the freshman year which they weren't but a lot were. Some were in junior year and ethics in senior year.
