Finally working again!

I start my new job next month!

I'm ready to start caring for people again after being off for nearly a year.

Check in, go piss, keep my nose clean, repeat...

Counting down the months til I can relax after work with a glass of wine and go out with my "normal" nurse friends. I totally won't stop socially drinking and I won't keep going to these meetings once I get out. Not a fan of trying to be brainwashed with 12-step BS AT ALL.

Keeping my nose to the grindstone til that day comes.

Screw you, Affinity, and everyone else who makes disgusting amounts of money on everyone who is sucked into these programs.

Yay to be working again and it sounds like you have the correct formula to whip the poo-covered gorilla's stinky butt

I've been in IPN since July 2017, I wasn't allowed to work at first but I have been since July and I'm having a hard time finding a job with a narcotic key restriction and needing an RN or higher to supervise me. The clinic that don't give narcotics, don't have RNs as my supervisors. I tried all the jails and dialysis places. I'm running out of ideas for Rn. I was considering taking an LPN or MA job just to get my foot in the door. Any ideas?

I'm in the same boat, have had numerous offers rescinded due to either supervision issues or unable to honor the narcotic restriction. I think I'm up to five offers taken back at this point. I still have one pending so fingers crossed. But I thought the same thing, about taking an LPN position but is that possible if you are licenses as an RN?

I did MDS assessments in LTC/SNF......it's an administrative RN position, usually day hours, M-F......a lot of training can be found at the " Dad, CMS website.....plus all LTC have at least an RN as DON........

Best Wishes

So far they have been happy to accept an RN for an LPN Position, meaning the pay is LPN pay. But one, did want to take me I was honest and told them once my narcotic key is lifted I'll probably look for another job (with RN pay), and the other, I wouldn't pass a background check :(
