Finally an interview.

Hello everyone:I will have an interview tomorrow for a position in a sub acute unit in a LTC facility. Please any advice, medications more used, procedures to review, etc. Thanks. I will appreciate.

I don't have any experience in LTC but I think it is more important to show you are a solid performer, work well with others, eager to learn, and give the compelling reasons you want to work there. Also stress your personal commitment to patient safety. Anyone can learn about medications but these other qualities are important to an employer. Good luck!

It is more important to show a confident and friendly personality. Show them that you are a team player and willing to help out your fellow co-workers. The meds and procedures can be taught but a good adittude is something that is very difficult to learned. Good luck!!

Stress that you are reliable - you show up.
