Final freakout

Published

I test on Wednesday and will continue studying through tomorrow. That's just how I role. I took some time off this weekend. I've done ~1000 questions. I will continue working with the LaCharity book. I've been reviewing Saunders on and off, but nothing seems to stick! I'm starting to get confused with what disease symptoms are associated with what and the more I look at Saunders, the more diseases I stumble upon that I've completely forgotten about!

Any last words of wisdom from anyone? Or am I on a suicide mission?

Erin, I am there with you now... Testing tomorrow, and not sure I can quit studying... I didn't do much today, and I am resisting the urge to study any more, but today was a little unnerving. I kept thinking of more things I didn't know, and I think that is why they say not to study on the last day.

Good luck on Wednesday!!!!

Good luck to you as well! I'm a nervous wreck and going back and forth on if I should reschedule! I'm just worried I didn't focus on content enough!!

HAHA I am with you too! I test Wednesday as well (as you probably already know because you've replied to a couple of my threads). But try and calm down. If you have some extra graduation money laying around (as I did) go get yourself a massage tomorrow. I have one booked at the Borgata in Atlantic City tomorrow and then I am spending the night so I can wake up and be in AC for my test. My g/f is going to meet me at the Borgata after I test for drinks and to spend another night...all comped of course LOL. GOOD LUCK!

I dont wanna give you any bad advice but I am REALLY superstitious when it comes to that kinda stuff. I would be WAYYYYY freaked out if i rescheduled that close in!

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

If you are beginning to get confused with disease process etc then now is the time to put down your books and try to relax. You test isn't that far away and ideally we recommend taking the day or even 2 days before the test off from studying and give your brain chance to rest and relax.

Best of luck

Well, I made some bad life choices this past weekend and blew off some steam. To make matters worse, after I take the NCLEX, I have to go pick up a computer/cell phone from someone who is covering an 'on-call' shift for me and then I have to cover the rest of the week!! ARgh! And to top that off, I'm going to be on-call for a job that I barely know how to do!! So , so, so mad at myself for my current predicament!

What did you mean about superstitious and rescheduling? That I shouldn't reschedule this close, or that I should?

I'm superstitious too. I will be wearing the same shirt I wore to my LPN boards that I didn't study for in 2002. Despite the fact it's long-sleeve and we are expecting highs in the 90's this week.

HAHAH Superstitious as in DONT reschedule! LMAO. For example, I took every test in nursing school with the same (green) mechanical pencil...and it will be coming with me to the test center. As in bad life choices are we speaking of  because too me thats not a bad life choice! I chose to endulge, way too much, on Saturday. LMAO.

goodluck! testing monday nextweek!!:banghead:

I feel same way in taking the exam but now Im trying all relaxation techniques to fight it. I study, pray and work out. Goodluck to all of us!
