when I was 5years old I wanted to be a nurse. I thought that it would be so cool it was going to be fun. that I would save lives every day. but I was just a child I didn't know what really happened every day. I'm now 17 years old going on 18 in two months. I am now a nurse. and I love it. I would not want to be anything else. but I have a vary different view now. it is not all about fun and saving lives. its about doing the best you can and hoping that what ever it was that I am doing would work. and for most people getting to work and going throw the motions getting money and getting out of doing anything. witch is not ok. what most people don't realize is that we make the world go round.so many people got the chance to live another 5years or more because of us. it is a vary hard job. and people depends on us. and that feeling is great. its my destiny. I guess what Im trying to say is if when your a child and you want to be something stay to it it may not be what you think it is. but you keep pushing for it and one day it will be what you need to survive.

No offense but do you live outside the US? It's hard to believe that you became a nurse at the age of 17 unless you live in a country with different educational system. I'm just curious.. I'm not trying to offend you or anything.

In some thread you're a nurse, in other threads you're a patient care tech, and in other you just got accepted to 2 nursing schools. Which one is it?

lolwut, please check your spelling and punctuation before you post and make sure you look up the definition of a nurse as well.

As per your other post, how are you already in med surg clinicals at 17?

Something's fishy

OP, you've got some super awesome passion there! Just be careful with your wording - you aren't a nurse until you've officially passed the NCLEX. There can be legal ramifications to misrepresenting yourself AND it just plain confuses the heck out of people.

Oh...honey...((HUGS)) I am sure you didn't know but.....you can't call yourself a nurse if you are a CNA...it's against the law in most states...Title "Nurse" Protection
Background

Restricting use of the title "nurse" to only those individuals who have fulfilled the requirements for licensure as outlined in each state's nurse practice act is a protection for the public against unethical, unscrupulous, and incompetent practitioners. Nurse practice acts describe entry level qualifications such as education, practice standards and code of conduct for continued privilege to practice nursing. Limiting use of the title "nurse" to only those who have satisfied the licensure requirements ensures the protection the public deserves.

Follow this link and it will lead you to the states protection of the title nurse. http://nursingworld.org/MainMenuCategories/Policy-Advocacy/State/Legislative-Agenda-Reports/State-TitleNurse

You are very young and I am so happy for you as you begin your journey. It will be important in the future that you become very careful of your spelling and grammar for in nursing a misspelled word can mean something else and can cause a patient harm.
