Yes, fill it out. Put all possible schools on the application. If you don't use it, nothing happens. It's sent to and disbursed by your school, so it just won't be sent anywhere. You have to apply again each year.

And Pell Grants are only good for your first Bachelor degree. After that, loans are available.

As far as being married, the application for 2017-2018 uses your tax information from 2015.

I have nothing to add to the above, except that I have seen some grants and scholarships that require their recipient to have filled out the FAFSA. Even if you intend on not needing/using any aid, it is still a good idea to have on file.

Yes, fill it out. If you don't use it, you don't lose it. You'll still have eligibility to apply for aid again in the future if you decide to delay schooling. You want to fill it out though, because schools use it to determine if you eligible for aid. If you don't fill it out by the deadline and later get accepted you may have a school to attend and no financial aid for attending that school!

2017-2018 FAFSA will be based on 2015 tax returns. Since you married after this time, it would behoove you to contact your financial aid office at your school to find out how to file an addendum/change. My husband was able to re-file FAFSA after our marriage. A financial aid adviser should be able to walk you through the process.

Then you have a choice to make. The max amount of grants you can get (based on financial need) is $5700ish. What's not used towards your tuition is sent to you for expenses like books, supplies, gas, etc. But you have to be a full time student.

I still recommend filling it out. There's no reason not to - it will not have any negative effect.

You won't get aid if you're taking 8 credits in 2 semesters, 4 credits per semester? 1 class? Even if I read it wrong and you're taking 2 classes per semester, that's still not full time, is it? I thought the threshold for full time was either 12 or 16 credits, but perhaps things have changed.

Definitely always fill out your FAFSA, what do you have to lose? If you're not in school you don't get the money, and you apply again when you are going to school, as stated above.
