Don't give up! If nursing is really what you want to do....then keep trying! I know it's hard. I took my NCLEX last summer and passed on the first try. I used the Kaplan training program and question bank. It really helps alot. Also, Saunder's book us really helpful as well. Just keep practicing questions. Maybe give yourself a vacation before jumping back into it. I now you can do it:)

Hey don't beat yourself up too bad. Just change your strategy. I did Saunders CD-ROM questions. I'd do 100 exam questions based on the content and read the rationals daily. Besides that I didn't do too much, but I also relied on a lot of what I learned in nursing school as well as some test taking strategies they teach you about in the book.
thank you so much for taking time to reply on my posts! you're words of encouragement are really important to me at this moment, maybe i needed to learn more about prioritization and how to answer sata! thank you so much!

Prioritization and SATA situations aren't just for the NCLEX, they are critical skills for a nurse to know in any work setting, forever. That's precisely why NCLEX is interested in seeing how you do on them at a beginning level.
Yes, by all means, get better on them. Please.

Keep in mind that the biggest hurdle that you must overcome right now is yourself. You must find the courage to forgive yourself, overcome your disappointment and anger so that you can regroup. Once you rediscover your "mojo", that fighting spirit again, you can readdress your boards and not a minute sooner.
Give yourself permission to sulk and once you are ready to get back in the proverbial saddle then you can receive the content review advice and critical thinking skills training that your sister/brother nurses are trying to impart with you on this thread. Good luck to you!
