:)Hi I'm new posting , but I really like allnurses my question is; if somebody fails the written part of the exam The PSI book says you have to be retrained. So in that case people will loose their money . And also time.I've also heard about people challenging the test without going classes . Could that be possible ?? To try once again after failing couple times.?? I apologize for my gramma
since I'm an ESL student. Thanks for your comments and possible correction are welcome thank you!!!

Yes many states do have it in their regulations that if you do not pass the test after a certain number of tries you would have to take the class over again to be able to qualify to be able to take the test again. Do you understand where your difficulties are in passing the test? I would talk to your instructor that you had and see if there is something that they can do to help you get through the test better, or maybe you can get a one on one person that can help you understand things better to be able to pass it.
For the challenging it is mostly for people who are already in school learning and taking classes the pertain to what we learn in CNA class. Mainly it is nursing students that have finished their first year of classes that are allowed to challenge the test and specifically not take a CNA class. So with you taking a class and have already tried to take the test 3 times... I do not think you would qualify as a canidate to challenge the test.

Thank you girl for comment , I did only failed once I have 2 more chances and I'm kinda hate that I friend passed and she never study she told me that her questions were so easy just easy as " temperature, how many sec wash hands so so so... And believe me my questions all of them weren't on the book . They were all about weird things like words like cyanotic , aphasia , and all terms in the whole world and different kinds of deseases that I ever heard about. Well aphasia and all those medical abrev I know are in the book but only the 10% of the book came out on the test. So so sad . She my friend said she was lucky .
I do struggle studying 3 hrs x day and there's people who do not ever touch the book . I can recite all the book if they ask me cuz I know what I'm doing , and I really want this I don't know what I'm gonna do if I fails the 2 more chances I have .im so discourage of myself . But one thing I believe . That everything in life has a purpose if we walk with The Lord . I believe that god know why. Even if I don't understand .
Oh Good I am glad to hear you have a few more chances.
Please know there are many that don't pass their first time either. Big Hugs and I know you can do this!!
I just thought of as well that if you google prectice CNA test there are sites that go through a practice test with practice questions. That really helped me as well to start to get use to some of the questions you might get and to have a feel as to how the test is designed.
keep us updated and when you get a test date post and I'll send a little prayer your way .

I'm wondering if being challenged by English is your main problem. Maybe brushing up on that before testing again is your best bet.
Thank you very much for your comments (mvm2 )God Bless you in everything you do .:) I do have a new date next week . I'll let everybody knows the results . GOD HEARS PRAYERS. Amen!
No . I don't think the barrier may be the language . They switch the questions . They do have different questionaries for each candidate. For me was to much. And none were on the book. Thanks for comment. Blessings-
