  2. Hi people . Just coming across to share little bit about my first experience after giving all my papers to the HR at the local hospital. apply for a job at a local hospital , where the minimum requirement is to have high school, and preferably to a license but is not mandatory . They sent me an email that I do not meet the minimum requirements. and I have other training in the field plus others certifications , but the deal is why did they get back to me saying that the wishes that one day I will find the right job for me. I feel that very sarcastically response.does not bother me that they have not accepted me . just do not understand because if there recive people even without certification without experience. you tell me ? I do not deny but I felt that this is just a dream I won't be able to make it.
  3. Hi for me this is the very first time im working with adults ,I have being a teacher aide for years . ages 0 to 6 but yes , I do have experience of my own taking care of sick family members . 6. THAT IM OFFICIALLY A CNA . I'm so happy happy happy . Today I had my written was my second try and finally pass . Thanks to God first of all and those who prayed for me. Can't denied it was so diff this time . Second time it's totally different but I did pass that's what really matter . Now I know I wasn't lucky !! I'm blessed and studied hard enough . Thanks to all . God Bless
  7. No . I don't think the barrier may be the language . They switch the questions . They do have different questionaries for each candidate. For me was to much. And none were on the book. Thanks for comment. Blessings-
  8. Thank you very much for your comments (mvm2 )God Bless you in everything you do .:) I do have a new date next week . I'll let everybody knows the results . GOD HEARS PRAYERS. Amen!
  9. I do struggle studying 3 hrs x day and there's people who do not ever touch the book . I can recite all the book if they ask me cuz I know what I'm doing , and I really want this I don't know what I'm gonna do if I fails the 2 more chances I have .im so discourage of myself . But one thing I believe . That everything in life has a purpose if we walk with The Lord . I believe that god know why. Even if I don't understand .
  10. Thank you girl for comment , I did only failed once I have 2 more chances and I'm kinda hate that I friend passed and she never study she told me that her questions were so easy just easy as " temperature, how many sec wash hands so so so... And believe me my questions all of them weren't on the book . They were all about weird things like words like cyanotic , aphasia , and all terms in the whole world and different kinds of deseases that I ever heard about. Well aphasia and all those medical abrev I know are in the book but only the 10% of the book came out on the test. So so sad . She my friend said she was lucky .
  11. I live in New Jersey
  12. :)Hi I'm new posting , but I really like allnurses my question is; if somebody fails the written part of the exam The PSI book says you have to be retrained. So in that case people will loose their money . And also time.I've also heard about people challenging the test without going classes . Could that be possible ?? To try once again after failing couple times.?? I apologize for my gramma since I'm an ESL student. Thanks for your comments and possible correction are welcome thank you!!!
  13. Hi i also do not have much experience on this because im new cna but i think focusing only in what you and your patients its important. accepting criticisms without getting upset its the ideal. when you know you have to do something any task with your patient make sure you have all what you need. and do not call for help unless for emergencies or to lift a very heavy patients or objects. try to deal with co workers its the worse thing in life. what with you if they were smoking garbage let them die. does not your business. and without proofs that was a terrible situation. Know you have gained this experience and i know you going to master it. i wish you all the best and blessing .
  14. www.glassdoor.com/Salaries/ and the Indeed App will send tons of healthcare /patient care jobs around your area. try it. blessings...
