I just started pharmacology & had my first calculations test. I know how hard this class is. There are about 6 students in my pharm class that came back after failing it last year. Don't give up! You can do it! And, since you have your materials, you can keep studying until the next round and ace that class!! That's exactly what I'll do if I don't make it through. We work so hard to get accepted into these programs, giving up just isn't an option! This is God's way of showing you that the timing just wasn't right & that you'll be a much stronger nurse if you do this again. You never know, having you repeat this class could be saving somone's life because you'll know your stuff that much better. Hang in there & don't give up!!

When I woke up this morning, I said to myself, He didnt bring you this far to leave you, Im going all the way, I googled several free dosage help websites. I going to keep on studing and Im going to make it. This is my dream. God says all you have to do is ask for me for what you want. I asked him, now i believe he wants to stand on his word and work hard and study hard. Because just like you said these are human lives we will be saving, and the ones that go to glory(heaven)..or the other place, i will confident that no medication errors will be made. You can do it, prayer certainly does help. I begin school (1 yr LPN) on mon feb 6th, and I have been driving myself, and everyone around me crazy. One moment I am up and can conquer all, the next, I am down, and lose confidence. I have every book, paper, cd, dvd, on ratio and proportion, and have been practicing for months, for some unknown reason, I just can't get it. I know it isnt difficult, I just can't keep things straight. We have a math packet to hand in, and a math test the first day. My anxiety is so sky high, i can't even process a thought anymore. I am 46, have about 35 or 40 college credits, but when I see numbers, I have fear. I dont get it, but perhaps I will, if not, I will be out of a program I haven't even begun. I am saying a prayer for you, and me, lol, we shall overcome. Hugs to you:)

Hi, I have never liked math. But Im gonna start loving it. I know what you mean about being down. But you and I have started to persue our dreams when alot of others just dont. So we were brave even to give it a shot..so we might as well fight til the end. the end being graduation and passing nclex. try this website dosagecalculations.com..i was upset last night looking for websites that offer interaction,meaning you input your answer, and it tells you if you are correct and also shows you the work on how it was calculated. I love it. It does all the dosage calculations even some my class wasnt taught. Its for health professionals and it's free. Get back on that horse and try again.... You can do this! Try making drug cards and take them wherever you go, that is what helped me in Pharm. Study and pray and you will get thru this. Good luck.
