Eye machine

I was just wondering what eye machine you use for your kindergartners? I think i have the one Florence nightingale used herself its a Titmus model ov-7m the manual is from 1960's. I'm not even sure if this is appropriate to use now. This is my 2nd year as a school nurse and I really had no training on vision and hearing.

    In Indiana you don't have to be certified to screen either. We check 1st grade for near/far/and depth perception. 3,5,8 get checked for near.

    No certification here either . . . but we do have to take an audiometry class.
