Extremely STRESSED

as the title states i'm extremely stressed and discouraged right now. i'm set to graduate from my community college in april and i'm beginning to start the application process and apply to schools and nursing programs. as of right now i have a cumulative gpa of 3.16 but according to my school my gpa for pre-nursing is a 3.31. i'm currently enrolled in chemistry, and this is my second time taking this class, but everything is looking good this time around. next semester i have to take a&pii, and microbiology along with a foreign language. so far all of my grades for my prerequisites courses have been a's and b's with the exception of one class which i got a c in. i have yet to take the teas but am registered to take it on november 3rd. i'm hoping that i'll do really well on this and that might help me out a little. i'm also going to start volunteering at the hospital really soon and i have my cna license. i just don't think that any school will accept me because my gpa is so low. any advice?

schools i'm looking into:

- univeristy of central florida

- florida state university

- university of alabama at birmingham

- florida gulf coast university

- university of texas san antonio

- university of north florida

i know that most schools typically accept students that have a 3.5+ and i just don't have that. i don't even think its possible for me to get my gpa up that high at this point since i'm already applying. should i just not apply? should i try to apply for the spring semester? i'm just lost and confused. any success stories of people that have been where i am?
