Which of the nursing pre-reqs did you find the most difficult?
I'd say Chemistry, at least for me, I'm taking it for the second time this semester. If you're good at memorizing things then A&P will be a breeze for you. I still have to take Microbiology so I don't know about that one but all the other courses were a breeze for me.

I think I remember you! I may take it with him next semester, but I'm not sure.

Extremely STRESSED
Ahhh I took him for A&P1 during the summer. I actually had him for A&P2 this semester too on Tuesday and Thursday but I had to drop the class. Fighter! Lol

Extremely STRESSED
I'm also at the Kendall campus, actually I'm here now lol. I just figured out that if I get all A's in the remainder of my courses my GPA will be a 3.56 which is pretty good so I have to work my butt off to get all A's and study for the TEAS. I heard that the science is intense as well so I know my focus will have to be on that to do the best that I can. Who are you taking A&P with?

Extremely STRESSED
i know my chemistry class is the one that has me really worried . i emailed all the admissions officers for my prospective schools to see if i should even apply or if that will completely eliminate me from the running? i definitely plan on getting straight a's for all of the other courses. i took a&pi in the summer and ended up getting an a in the lecture and lab so i'm happy about that. what campus are you at? your gpa is really good, did you take the teas yet?

A&P I and A&P II - need suggestions
I would say it depends on you personally. Initially, I was going to take them back to back but now I'm going to have a semester in between but I don't think it will make a difference for me. I definitely don't think its to early to take these courses they'll be a great help when and if you have to take the TEAS test.

Extremely STRESSED
I've been studying for about 2 weeks so far. I purchased the study pack from ATI so I'm hoping that by studying that and brushing up on my prereqs that I've already completed will help me. I know that UNF has an interview but I'm not sure about the other schools.

Extremely STRESSED
Ahhh that is such a relief. I plan on applying to nursing schools once this semester is over and hopefully my GPA will be a little higher than it is now. I've also been studying for the TEAS like crazy to get a great score. What school are you graduating from? CONGRATS!

Extremely STRESSED
as the title states i'm extremely stressed and discouraged right now. i'm set to graduate from my community college in april and i'm beginning to start the application process and apply to schools and nursing programs. as of right now i have a cumulative gpa of 3.16 but according to my school my gpa for pre-nursing is a 3.31. i'm currently enrolled in chemistry, and this is my second time taking this class, but everything is looking good this time around. next semester i have to take a&pii, and microbiology along with a foreign language. so far all of my grades for my prerequisites courses have been a's and b's with the exception of one class which i got a c in. i have yet to take the teas but am registered to take it on november 3rd. i'm hoping that i'll do really well on this and that might help me out a little. i'm also going to start volunteering at the hospital really soon and i have my cna license. i just don't think that any school will accept me because my gpa is so low. any advice? schools i'm looking into: - univeristy of central florida - florida state university - university of alabama at birmingham - florida gulf coast university - university of texas san antonio - university of north florida i know that most schools typically accept students that have a 3.5+ and i just don't have that. i don't even think its possible for me to get my gpa up that high at this point since i'm already applying. should i just not apply? should i try to apply for the spring semester? i'm just lost and confused. any success stories of people that have been where i am?

FSU & UCF nursing programs gpa requirements? & TEAS TEST
I'm looking into these schools as well and am in the same boat. I have a 3.16 GPA as of now and will be done with my prereqs spring 2011 and I'm worried about the same thing. I know most schools accept students with a 3.5+ and I don't have that right now. I'm sure there's other things that come into play like your essay, community involvement, etc. I'm also taking the TEAS in November so I'm nervous about that as well. I would contact the school of nursing and see what they recommend or browse on this site and see what others are saying.
