CONGRATS!!! Thats not silly at all it is soooooo exciting when you get all the paperwork :) We received our info about graduation and our final semester and it seemed so surreal...there is actually a light at the end of the tunnel!!! Good luck!!!

I just got my welcome packet today! It just details when orientation is and a few things I'll need to do before school starts (shots, cpr, etc). I am even more excited about starting school than I was before!!! :) :)

Yes congrats- I am also so excited to start my program in Aug! I already want to buy my stethoscope to practice- just looking at the Littmanns after reading some threads. Orientation cannot come any sooner!

I am SO with you! I am super excited to start as well, despite all the "horror" stories I've been hearing about nursing school. My orientation is the day before yours...May 8th. We start May 12th, when do you start? Congratulations!!! It's the best feeling...I just want to go buy all my supplies now and start reading up on everything :)

I start on May 12, also! Congratulations to you too. I know what you mean, I want to go out and buy everything on the list, but I'll try to hold out until orientation when I can talk to the students who are about to graduate from the progam so I'll know what's necessary and what's not! good luck! :)

I start nursing school in August and so excited I cried. I have been an LVN for 5 years and did almost all types of nursing. Finally got tired of not making the " big bucks " so I went back to school. I was so happy because they had only 10 spots for advance placement and 30 applied. My GPA was 2.8 but my references and experience really helped. I just found AllNurses a couple of days ago and it is so informative and everyone is great. Good luck everyone!!!

I have not recieved my orientation packet yet. This my frist post but I don't feel like a newbie.
