I sometimes hit luck using CINAHL, but I also had an incredibly difficult time. I know paying for these things isn't ideal; however, there is a site that is only around $3 a month. I wish I could remember the name of it

try Medline.com they sometimes have research articles you could use as evidence-based practice references...

Does your hospital have a library? They often have access to those websites. If not your hospital, maybe another one in the area does.

Your school or library will have subscriptions to sites that require fees but are free to you. If you want guidelines on certain conditions go to www.guidelines.gov.

Hi
I agree with the hospital or school library. I just had to do a presentation on an EBP. I did find that the more narrow your topic, the better results you will get. I wanted something to do with pressure ulcers, but that was too broad a topic. I focused on the Braden Scale and found what I needed in some articles on-line that were free. Good luck!!!

Are you in school? Your college should pay for memberships to data bases and journals such as CINHAL. You will be looking for research articles.
