Have you tried using the library databases at your school's library? They should allow you to set date parameters while also returning peer-reviewed articles. There are a wealth of EBP articles out there- choose a topic that interests you and do a keyword search. Asking us to provide you with an article defeats the purpose of having you get out there and start doing your own research- knowing how to find EBP articles to back up why you do something or should change how you do something as a nurse is an important skill.

I feel your pain. When I first started doing research for school, the process was painful. BUT, part of the point of having you do the research is so you can learn to be proficient in how to do research. Otherwise, your instructor would provide you all with articles and have you complete there rest of the project/paper/assignment from there.

As PP said, use your school's databases. Google can also be your friend in terms of pointing you in the right direction or allowing you to look at abstracts of articles of interest which you can then go get the full text version of on your school's database.

What do you want to research?

Your school library should have access to CINAHL, which a great database of nursing articles. If you need help accessing it, your librarian should be able to help you.

Absolutely go to the library and ask the librarian to help you learn. This is part of their job, to help you learn how to do this effectively yourself. If you are in some online course and don't have a school library to go to, you'd have to live in rural Alaska or someplace to be too far from a public library. They know too.

Here's a link to a wonderful article on doing literature searches. I have it printed out on my desk all the time.

Go to American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners > Resources > Journal > Journal archives > Fall 2013. Download the whole issue, it's free access. The article you're looking for is by David Dillard, and is on page 93. I'm looking at it right now. I promise it will help you do better searches.
