EVC FALL 2019

Thank you! Good luck to you as well. I don't know if I like the point system but we'll see how it goes. As you mentioned, this is the first time Evergreen is using the point system so there's no one you can really ask about it. I have 8 schools I'm applying to so I hope I get a yes from one.

How's the program so far? Would you say it's really hard or is it a pretty manageable workload?

its manageable as long as you put enough effort into it. lots of time management and critical thinking.

What was your multi-criteria score?

I'm embarrassed to say. Lol. I didn't do as well as I would have liked on the TEAS test. I feel like it's pointless to retake it since most places take your first attempt. I'm hoping that if I don't get in this year, then by next year I can have Pharmacology and Patho done so I can get those extra ten points.

I dont think I scored very high either, I was reading other colleges and they also do the point system, many people were scoring in the 70's. Does EVC offer the Pharmacology and Patho classes. I was looking those up and I dont see them. I might have to take those classes too

EVC has both Pharm and Patho. It should be under the subject 'nursing' on the schedule planner, but it appears that EVC is only offering Patho (Nurs119) for this upcoming Spring 2019 semester.

I scored a 60 on my multi-criteria. What did everyone else get?

Hi everyone! I also applied for Fall 2019. I am not score what my score will end up for the multicriteria, because I was a HHA for 500 hours.. it wasn't volunteer but I didn't meet the criteria for 1000 hours. So I'm not sure how many points I got.

I have a 3.7 in the prereqs, a 90% on the TEAS and submitted a letter for German language fluency, and a personal hardship which I'm also not sure if they'll give me points for it.

In any case, I'm going to guess I have around 70 points or so. Good luck to everyone!
