What would you do if you knew a nurse mislabeled lab specimens indicating the specimens were drawn at least 2 hours later than actually drawn? For instance, labs drawn at 1300 are labeled drawn at 1500. I believe they were for drug troughs, too, which can affect the amount of med the patient subsequently receives. It would be obvious I was the one reporting, but it concerns me that patient meds may be adjusted according to this. Your opinions?

ABx troughs? Antiviral?
You can burn up someone's kidneys or liver. You report it.

Absolutely. There's no question whatsoever. This is unethical, dangerous and stupid.

Why would somebody even do this? This makes no sense to me.
That was intended to be an exclamation point, not a question mark.

My instinct to protect would override anything else and drive my actions.
