Essential Oil Diffusers

Okay hive, I need all the articles you have about the health risks related to essential oil diffusers.

Our PTO is wanting to put diffusers in pretty much every classroom. ? I emailed admin bringing up the risks with asthma and allergies. Got an email from back that she wants to discuss in person. I want to be prepared with some solid research.

Thanks!

I'd be absolutely enraged as a parent if this was coming from a conflict of interest like this. What if she isn't the ONLY parent in the district who sells a scented product? How is that fair? Is it even legal? I think, if this would go through, she would either have to donate rather than sell or the school can buy through an approved vendor. Can a mother who sells Creative memories corner the market on selling paper to the art teacher at a markup compared to educational catalogs? Shall the cafeteria start buying Pampered Chef?

(Also, Scentsy is the brand of wax melt that nearly killed me so maybe I'm a bit biased, lol.)

I wasn't using scentsy but I did get a 3rd degree burn about 1 inch in diameter that took weeks to heal and left a nasty scar when I bumped into a diffuser that had hot wax in it.

Gerry Brooks (an actual elementary school principal) has an excellent video that touches on, among other things to reduce stress, essential oils in the classroom. Please enjoy! ?

This guy kills me! I love the quick flash of Betsy DeVos' face!
