Epic super user

I have been using Epic during my rotations... How do I, as a nursing student, become a sup user?

Probably going to be facility dependent. I was elected as the superuser for my cardiac OR as part of my job duties. I'm not sure that nursing students can become superusers unless they are employed in a role that requires Epic documentation, such as a CNA.

If you mean as one of the support people who go to facilities during go-live, that would probably be something to research with the company itself.

I am a super user at my facility and only RNs and MDs hold the position. We went for a week of training and go to updates from our EPIC team when we are doing updates. I was also on the team to build our charting/documentation pages.

I am thinking of going back for an informatics degree.

Superuser is for people employed by the facility, not students.
