Endorsement

Hello I am currently endorsing my license from hawaii to TeXas, i have all my paperwork in and is *in review . How long does that usually take to get your license? whoever else has been in this situation i would like to know your experience

It varies from 15 days or greater. Your best resource would be the BON-TX themselves. I suggest you directly contact the department involved with endorsements.

I have gone through the process to receive a Texas nursing license via endorsement twice, and it took approximately five to six weeks to receive the license in both instances.

Just a question. Do we need a CES report when we endorse our license from florida to texas? I am a foreign educated nurse but already working in florida as a nurse.

If you are an internationally educated nurse (IEN), the process to obtain a license by endorsement may take considerably longer. It only took five to six weeks to receive my TX license by endorsement, but I was born and educated here in the States.

Hi Ms kat and The Commuter.. thats fine if it will take longer. But do u have any idea how long for me? what requirements do submit to them?

Thanks in advance guys...

I can tell you a bit about my journey, I am a US citizen that graduated in the Philippines.

Originally applied for hawaii, took NCLEX july 2014 and passed :)

I started endorsement for Texas, sent out all requirements during the first week of October 2014, CGFNS CES took a little longer but TX BON received it on 10/30. During the 2nd week of November all items were received, and I was in review for about 2 weeks. Just checked it today and it says submitted for a permanent license 12/1 !! hopefully i can get my license number sometime this week :cat: ill update once i see my license number on BON !

Hi guys! I am also in the process of endorsing my HI license to TX. My question is, is it okay for me to go and proceed on for the TX online endorsement process even if I haven't received my physical RN license yet from HI? My license number is already posted on the HI website and I just don't know on how many weeks it will take them to mail my license. Thank you! :)

Hi Katabolic which part of Texas are you from?

How is the job hunting status there?
