If you are an internationally educated nurse (IEN), the process to obtain a license by endorsement may take considerably longer. It only took five to six weeks to receive my TX license by endorsement, but I was born and educated here in the States.Im a foreign graduate too. I sent a CES report for the VOL verfication of my Philippine license.
I can tell you a bit about my journey, I am a US citizen that graduated in the Philippines.
Originally applied for hawaii, took NCLEX july 2014 and passed :)
I started endorsement for Texas, sent out all requirements during the first week of October 2014, CGFNS CES took a little longer but TX BON received it on 10/30. During the 2nd week of November all items were received, and I was in review for about 2 weeks. Just checked it today and it says submitted for a permanent license 12/1 !! hopefully i can get my license number sometime this week ill update once i see my license number on BON !
Hi guys! I am also in the process of endorsing my HI license to TX. My question is, is it okay for me to go and proceed on for the TX online endorsement process even if I haven't received my physical RN license yet from HI? My license number is already posted on the HI website and I just don't know on how many weeks it will take them to mail my license. Thank you! :)
