Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital
Wow! That was a bit mind boggling! Can I ask what kind of cases do they usually have and what are the things I should expect? I am assigned to the Surgical department though I applied for the Med-Surg unit. Does that mean most of my exposure will be on surgery?

Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital
Hi everyone! I just got accepted for the RN Residency at Methodist and I would want to ask for some helpful advices. Does anyone here had the experience of working at MSTH? How was it? Can you guys share your personal experiences? I am really nervous yet also excited since I'll be working at the Med-Surg unit. I chose it over all other nursing specialties since I believed it's a good starting point for building your foundation in bedside nursing. Hoping for your response! :)

Texas Endorsement
Don't worry! I received your reply :) My license no. appeared at PVL exactly the second month from the day I passed my NCLEX. Just be sure to check it from time to time.

Endorsement
Thank you! I'm already in the process of my TX endorsement. Btw, does hospitals in San Antonio continuously hiring? I'm not a new grad though but I only have 1 year clinic experience. How were you able to land on a job? Was it an easy find?

Texas Endorsement
I just waited for my license before I proceeded for the online endorsement. You just basically need your license number for the application. A verification of license (coming from the BON) is also needed from any US State / territory you were licensed.

Texas Endorsement
Hello fellow nurses! I recently passed the NCLEX-RN exam for Hawaii and is in the process of endorsing my license to TX. I haven't received the hard copy of my RN license by mail yet my license no. is already posted in PVL Hawaii. I would want to ask if I can already proceed on the TX online endorsement application or should I wait for my RN license to arrive first? And do you guys have any idea how many days for Hawaii BON to mail my license? Thank you!

Endorsement
Hi guys! I am also in the process of endorsing my HI license to TX. My question is, is it okay for me to go and proceed on for the TX online endorsement process even if I haven't received my physical RN license yet from HI? My license number is already posted on the HI website and I just don't know on how many weeks it will take them to mail my license. Thank you! :)

Military Spouse
Hi! Thank you for your response! 😊 Well, I'm still just a Greencard holder and most VA hospitals prioritize US Citizens. I'm also Internationally educated that's why license endorsement takes a long process. My husband is due to relocate every 1-2 years since he's a PA. I'm just hoping to apply in different Government hospitals (even if it means I'll be a 2nd priority) just to let that foot on the door as my entry level RN experience here in the US.

Prepping for the NCLEX in Idaho
Hurst Review + Saunders Compre are both good on content review. While Linda LaCharity and the NCLEX-RN Mastery app (which is a hidden gem) are the only ones I used for my Q&A to pass the NCLEX. 😊

Failed NCLEX looking at different study options...input
Try to download NCLEX-RN Mastery app. 😊 That's just the only Q&A I did along with Linda LaCharity. Try to answer as much questions as you can yet be sure not to stress out with the number of questions BUT that your mind can process and answer them correctly. Its so important that you understand every rationale behind every question. Pray! He is faithful! God bless you on your 2nd attempt! ðŸ‘

Military Spouse
Hello fellow nurses! I would want to ask some good advice especially for those whose husband is on the military. For all we know being a military spouse is quite a bit challenging since we are always relocating (being deployed) from one state to another and getting employment is a challenge since there's always a possibility of license endorsement. For all those who had this similar experience, what kind of advice can you give? Did you guys had a hard time finding a job and being established? Did you became honest with your future employers that there's a big possibility of staying a short time with them? Hoping for some responses! Thanks! 😊

Texas Employment
Hi! I am currently residing in San Antonio. I'm not a new grad though yet I only have 1 year RN experience (Aesthetic / Dermatology) in my home country and is a BSN graduate. I'll just be staying in TX till Dec. 2015 and will need to move again in another state since my husband is in the military. I am thinking that the TX endorsement will consume much of my time when I should be working and gaining an RN experience here in the US as my entry level.
