After verifying with the dean I only had 27pts(2 classes from Collin were not accepted) and a HESI cumulative of 436(in the letter it said 430 but She verified I had 436)!! Thank you!! Good luck to you as well!!

@casandrakcvegas, don't lose hope, just like briana stated! I'm surprise to see you paid $15. I actually went on their site this money, and I paid $35. $15 for the nonrefundable fee, and then 20 for membership fees. I really don't know if I did everything right. Just woundering. Secondly, I'm going to get my Hep A & B shot today. I'm not sure if those 2 go together. Thirdly, where did y'all get your immunization? Do I need to print out the form so it can be signed by the PC? Thank y' all.......you're awesome!

The 35$ is for students who are already in the nursing program the 15$ is for students who are barely applying into the program. Hey well at least you paid for it already so when you get accepted it is already paid for.

What is this Sentry MD everyone is talking about? I submitted my application a month ago, so now what do I do? I'm confused.

Nevermind! Got it all figured out, just gotta get my hep A vaccine tomorrow after work. Ah what a pain... This short notice stuff gives me anxiety!! Lol

I sent my forms to Sentry on Sunday and I haven't received an email back saying they got my forms; is anyone else having the same problem?

@alyssashelton09, just relax. I faxed mine on Friday and I just got a confirmation email. It takes a while. Give it about tomorrow, you will hear from them.

Yes i had that problem. I faxed and emailed my paper work to sentry on thursday of last week and had not received a conformation email until this morning. I turned in my application yesterday and i had asked the lady at the admissons front desk why it was taking so long for the email. She stated that Sentry was overwhelmed with applicants, she said that sentry was only looking for about 100 applicants to submitt forms. She said there was at least 500 forms submitted. I was like whattt!!! But i did forget to ask her if that was due to everybody applying for ALL of el centros health occupations. or was it 500 people applying just for the nursing program. They are trying to make it harder and harder to get in.....Smh I pray we all get in!!!

Do not freak out people 500 is the "norm" or so I hear. I got an email saying my physical/vaccines cleared :up:so I am a little hopeful now for Spring 2015 since El Centro is not doing the verifying anymore for the physical exam and vaccines. I might still get denied down the line but thats OK I am prepared for that as well.
