eeek! I'm scared to schedule a test date for NCLEX!

Hey! I just got my ATT, and I've been saying all along, "I'm going to take the NCLEX as soon as I possibly can," but now I'm chickening out! On one hand, I want to become an RN ASAP because I'm already working and my pay increases once I get my license and I can't wait to be able to call myself a RN! On the other hand, what if I'm not prepared?! Now I'm scared!

I felt the same way but I scheduled my test for June 7 and the closer the day comes the more scared I am getting, but I am going in like a solider and take the test wish me luck.

I think I'm going to do like I've been saying all along, and take it ASAP...I just have to look at my work schedule tomorrow.

I am like you...I said I will take it as soon as I possibly can!!! Well I got my ATT on Wed...and I freaked out a bit about scheduling...well I finally got the courage up to just do it....I am taking it today!!!!

Just remember you have been preparing for this test for a long time...and I am sure you have been studying...so you will be fine!!!! Good Luck

How did it go?

I went ahead and scheduled mine last night! I'll be taking it the end of this month.

About one year ago I remember doing the same thing. Got my ATT..went onto Pearson Vue to schedule a date and just couldn't do it...too soon...too late...am I ready, etc. etc. I tested in July 06 and passed but it was a big step for me just to schedule the exam. ;)
