I've been keeping my fingers crossed and saying lots of prayers that a particular pediatric facility would contact me for an interview. They have one RN position open and I'm sure lots of applicants. I had my clinical here and it really challenged me in ways I didn't expect. I received an email last night from the nurse manager and called her today. She wants to interview me tomorrow!! I have to work until 3:30 and told her that I would have to come in scrubs but she didn't mind at all. It's at a pediatric rehabilitation facility and I would get invaluable learning experience with a wide variety of pediatric patients from age 2 to 18. Please keep your fingers crossed for me. It's been a long four months of job searching. If anyone has any particular tips or pointers for the interview I would appreciate those too!

Good luck! I used to do agency at a pediatric facility where they did acute rehab, long term care, and respite care. I loved it. Eventually I want to get back to peds b/c of the great experiences I had there.
