Hello All,
I have an upcoming interview for ED nurse. I am a new grad. Can anyone tell me what to expect during this interview. Any ER nurses or nurse managers, please feel free to respond. Thank you. Totally nervous.

Good luck
What am I looking for in this section? I do not see a response to my inquiry.

i'm an ed nurse new to the er. i had an interview 6 months ago for my current job. look at your job description for clues as t the type of person your department is looking for... also know that the ed is fast pace so be a fast learner and a team player!! also be motivated to continue to learn! other aspects of your interview will be somewhat similar to flipping burgers.... you will be asked basic interview questions that can be asked of you in any interview. by the way, if you know of ed nurses who work in the er you are interviewing, talk to them about what they like about new grads they already have and what they do not! if you do not know anyone, talk to a few of them prior to your interview. i popped my head in the ed and spoke to a few i saw and introduced myself! ironically one in particular became a great resource for me in the ed. she is a strong nurse and when i need help, she does not hesitate to either pull me aside to guide me or jump in! good luck!
Thanks MBarn08
