I heard Thursday and have accepted.... there are no words to describe my how awesome I am feeling!

Congratulations to you all!

I do agree--congrats to both of you. And you should feel awesome--it is a great accomplishment.

see you both in spring.

We now know of three admitted, there are possibly nine others. Is anyone going to take a core class in the fall? Look forward to meeting you both.

I am already in...I am currently in my second semester, but I will still see you two in spring. My humble recommedation is to take whatever core courses you can and get them out of the way. Most of them are online..registration is already open..and aren't too all fire difficult. As they are time consuming it is good to have them done when it comes time to do the anesthesia courses and clinicals. Just a thought, as there are others in my class who haven't taken any of the core courses.

I've already taken the core courses and took some refresher chemistry last summer..

ECU_CRNA2B: so where r u living... can u give advice on that? do you think it would be helpful to come work at pitt prior to starting to get to know the area? you can pm me if that is better

You are saying get the core courses out of the way early on, despite how the program is designed to take them. So I could possibly get two of them out of the way prior to starting in Jan. What did you do in review of chemistry prior to starting?

I actually took general chem 1 & 2 last summer--these were repeats for me- but it had been so long since I'd had them... I'll just be reviewing my notes from those classes.

I think if you can get any courses out of the way its good... b/c they are kinda busy work... least at uncg they were.... I've got to look at mine and make sure they will count at ECU... I'm pretty sure they will

ecu_crna2b vbmenu_register("postmenu_1738980", true); --- which pda do most students have?

Yes, your UNC courses should transfer without problem, but it is always a good idea to hang on to the syllabus. Should you need to 'defend' that one course is equivalent to another, the syllabus is your 'proof' of what material the course taught. Just my two cents on that one.

Japaho:

Yup, you can take as many as you can or want to or don't want to. They are built in so you are under no obligation to complete them, but it will be courses that 'distract' you from your anesthesia and other courses that are VERY time consuming.

Willti-I will PM you on location.
