Ecpi graduates? (for RN program)

has anyone taken the mci virginia beach RN program at all?

Have you looked at Norfolk State? Sentara? Hampton University? ODU? MCI would be one of my last choices, them and South University.

I was just looking on the Virginia Board of Nursing website, it appears that MCI/ECPI is not approved or accredited for their Bachelors program.

They are ACEN accredited. Which I assume is nationally accredited?

They're not on the CCNE list but I'm not entirely sure which is better. I'm looking more for nationally accredited programs rather than just state of Virginia approved.

I'm also trying to avoid going to a community college to get pre-reqs done (I just honestly have had bad luck with community colleges and end up staying there far too long, at least with ecpi I already know what to expect since I've attended there for a different program)

I may consider hampton university if that's cheaper though O: thank you for the suggestion!

also* I don't know why I said this they're not the only accredited rn (ba) program in the area.

I have only ever heard of NLNAC or CCNEaccreditation. I also thought a program had to be approved by the VA BON in order to test for the NCLEX.

Are you asking about the RN (ASN) program or the BSN programs?

I do know that the RN (ASN) program is approved by the VA BON, just not the BSN

I went to ECPI in Greenville, Sc for my LNP. I'm doing Excelsior College to complete my RN degree. ECPI was a hard accelerated program. I've heard they have made many changes to the program, I passed the Nclex with 75 questions on my first try. Great school.
