Ok I admit- I did ask this before but am still curious-

How did your scores on the practice exams relate to the actual exam scores? Were they way off? I have made 70s :o so far on the Transititions Practice Exams and am soooo worried about failing the actual test.

So how did you guys do?? Thanks in advance!!

wow i would say 70ish are pretty good practice exam scores. i have never gotten any 70s yet on them. good luck on the transitions!! i think with that score, you'll get a b or a.

my scores on lifespan 1 were 46/62, i was very surprised with the b i got.

I just took the transitions practice exam also, and got a 71%. I hadn't even looked at the material in the fourth section of the content guide plus I still need to memorize a LOT, but now I feel like I know what I need to focus on. I took the Health Difference exam 2 weeks ago and got 70/72 on the exams and ended up with an "A", on Health Safety I got 72/82 and got a "B" so I never know how I'm going to do!!!

Good luck, when are you taking the exam? I'm taking it Wed!!

Hey Angel!! I felt like the 70 sucked to be honest. I guess I was a bit disappointed with it. I guess since I am an LPN (grad 3 yrs ago) I expected to do better.

Hey Meg!! (LOVE that name btw!) I have been briefly studying off and on for the transitions for about 3 weeks now. I took the form a practice exam 3 weeks ago before I started..... I was planning to schedule the test for mon nov 2, but I am thinking of moving it up to this fri or next week. I just have no idea if I am ready....but I know I am ready to get through the courses and graduate!! Ya know? I have not decided yet. The idea of failing is sooo bothersome!!! Thanks for the good vibes!

I took the EC practice exam for my gerontology test. Didn't think it was helpful. The real test was tougher. I managed to pass that course. Good Luck with your exams:)

Oh man, is the second practice exam really tough?? I'm studying for the exam now and taking it Wed ready or not!! If I were you I would look at the areas you didn't do well on and just focus on them. I'm finding there are some tricky questions, it's so annoying! I think i have the famous nurses memorized, just have to get the theory's and papers down. Hoping to take Form B tomorrow sometime so I'll let you know how I do :)

i would take the exam if i were you. those practice grades are good. you are ready. i know this is your first exam that is why you are hesitating and not sure when to be ready. bite the bullet and see. just remember to be confident on the day of the exam. i am studying for lifespan 2 now and will be taking it in less than 3 weeks. i am even thinking of scheduling it earlier because i am looking at the psych part and endrocrine part and i pretty much know the materials, just need little review. i shall see next week if i would reschedule it for an earlier time. i am feeling more confident with lifespan 2 than lifespan 1.

anyway, if you really think you need one more week to study then go ahead and do that. after your first exam, you will kinda get the idea of how to study for these exams.

good luck diana and let us know. i'm sure you'll ace it.

Aldragon-

Thanks for the vote of confidence and you are so right. It's my first test so I am freaking out about the crappy practice grades. I am in the package price option and if I fail- I can take it in 60 days right? I think the wording of the questions are throwing me off and I am a good test taker too!! Let me know how you continue to do. THANKS

Meg- let me know what you make! Good luck!
