During pre requisites

So in the fall i will be starting the pre nursing program. During this period would i study towards the actual nursing program....or would i wait to be admitted. This may sound foolish, but i'm truly confused.Would a freshman begin to buy and study the nursing books while taking their pre requisites?

Thanks in advance

Soon to be freshman

Focus on your pre-reqs while taking pre-reqs. You need the base knowledge before your dive into the nursing courses. Worry about buying nursing text books once you are in nursing classes and given a book list to purchase.

You likely won't start nursing classes until your junior year - so you'll be focused on pre-requisites (like English, Algebra, etc).

Thank you!!!

Focus on pre-reqs. I would recommend to start saving $500+ once you get accepted to a nursing program. This counts towards nursing school fees, books, scrubs, stethoscope.

This depends on your school! One of the schools I got accepted to, started nursing courses during their 1st semester.

You'll have plenty to study with your pre-reqs lol
