Due dates????

What I was taught was:

take the 1st day of your last menstrual period, add 1 week, and then subtract 3 months.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Count 10 months from the day of your last period and add 7 days examlpe

March 7 last peroid December 14 Due date hope that helps

August 13 would be your due date if your last period was November 6th hope that helps

That being said, there are many websites that offer free calculators to determine your due date, date of conception, and how many weeks pregnant you are.

You only have to input the first date of your LMP. This is the coolest one I've found; it also provides info about the time period that birth defects are most likely to occur, when organ formation begins, and lots more, all based on your date of conception:

Congrats on the pregnancy, I am also pregnant and due on July 12th, I use babycenter.com its free to use and will send you weekly e-mails about how your baby is developing and what week you are at. it also has chats and multiple posting boards, I use the plus size and pregnant its is helps me relate to other people in my situation. Yep August 13 sounds right to me too. I just add 9 months and 7 days to last period.

My last period was 26th September and I'm due 3rd July.

Congratulations and have fun telling the family! We will be telling extended family over Christmas too. (the close family already know)

yep add on 9 mths and 7 days, but on saying that my last period was 14 th April 04 so by my dates im due 21st jan 05 but when had scan they put me back till 1st feb 05..........congratulations! :balloons:

Counting from your LMP will only work if you have a 28 day cycle. Many women do not. If you do not have a 28 day cycle, you should calculate from when you ovulated. If I would have gone by my LMP, I would have been due 2 weeks before my actual due date.

babycenter.com is great used it for my last baby. He is now 18mth and will be our last due to my medical probs. had tubes tied.
