drug test

New grad finally an offer of employment...I go for drug screen tomorrow. Never would have been a problem but about a week ago had a horrible abcess and was put on antibiotics and vicodine. so worried now about drug test..will defintiely take my prescriptions with me but just wish I didnt feel nervous.. talk about bad timing!

    It will show up but as long as there is a prescription and you are under the doctor's care it is legitimate. Does not mean that they have to accept the reason though so be prepared to have the medications both in hand. The antibiotic helps to prove the infection and that will help with the vicodin. Good luck.

    thank you! i took the this morning, but HR told me she didnt need to see the prescription...she stated that lab would contact me directly if anything amiss. so i guess i wait and see

    The hydrocodone usually only stays in the body around 3 days. Anyway, with the script you will be fine. Don't worry.
