What do you think of this....
Today I went to see a doctor in Box Hill. I told him I want to opt out and before I went any further, he told me I have his full support. He told me his own daughter at age 16 is totally unvaccinated and as healthy as can be. I looked at the photograph on his desk and totally agreed. He goes on to tell me on record he has to tell me that vaccination is strongly recommended which I accepted. So to all non-vaxxers out there, we are not alone! I think we may win the "battle" yet!
Not at the non-vaccination aspect... but of what the Dr has told the pt.. I find it unethical by the nursing code of ethics, but would it be also for a Dr?

I think it is on the borderline of being non-ethical. He recommended the current treatment but counteracted it with his own personal opinion. The author of the quote seems to have taken the fact that he is a doctor who is not following the current treatment, as being ok, simply because he is a doctor.

In a professional capacity, the doctor should be providing advice based on the current clinical evidence.. which recommends vaccination. Yes, it is unethical to impose his personal beliefs onto a PATIENT who may give it more weight since it's coming from a physician.
