Dress Code in Hospitals

Hello there ,

I don't know if my questions sounds wrong or not..but here it is ..

Does hospital has specific place or website to order uniform for staff . I know every hospital has different color dress code based on the positions of staff .Or does everyone buy from local store ? Which is the best store to buy scrubs ??

My main concern is ..it is very hard for me to get my pants ( bcoz I am too short:) ) . I am wondering if there is place where I can give my exact measurement so that I don't have to alter my pants every time I buy. I am tired of altering pants . It costs $11 extra just to re-size it .

Thanks

What facilities require is going to depend on their individual policy. My facility only mandates that nurses wear navy and/or white. No restrictions on brands, where to buy, or anything like that. Have you tried various different brands of scrubs? Although I very rarely wear them, I've found that a certain brand fits me much better than some of the other popular brands. Why not try to find a scrub store in your area and try several different brands on?

Not every place has a ploicy as what to wear. My employer doesn't specify what colors we have to wear.

My employer specifies color, brand name and even where we buy our scrubs. There is the option to buy petite scrubs, but if even these are too long for you, perhaps you could learn to hem them yourself? It's not difficult.
