I always watch Dr. 90210 on E, the show about plastic surgery, i was wondering, what is it that the anesthesiologist or the CRNA, put into the patients it looks like a large syringe full of thick white stuff. anyone know what i am talking about?

sounds like your friend and mine, diprivan, or "milk of amnesia"

Specializes in 5 yrs OR, ASU Pre-Op 2 yr. ER.

Propofol (Diprivan)

Milk of amnesia..lol

That guy is a tool. According to his fellow residents, he used to go to Target in his scrubs and opps, I left my littman stethescope on my neck.

I mean come on, the sleeveless scrubs and then this, how pathetic and self-absorbed can you honestly be?

I might be tempted to do the smae thing. Sad Huh

His partner, Dr. Kolter, is very anti-CRNA. Was interviewed by Deborah Norville for one of her shows regarding plastic surgery and the consumer. He stated a CRNA should not be used, only ask for a board certified anesthesiologist. She received quite alot of e-mail on that show by CRNAs. He, by the way, is not a board certified pastic surgeon, but an ENT surgeon.

You guys do know he did not go to Harvard? They pump up his Plastics fellowship at Harvard, but downplay his time at Tufts and UCLA. :lol2:

Still, he does seem like a nice man. Very nice to his patients.

Specializes in SRNA class of 2010.

I had propofol pushed into my IV prior to surgery by a CRNA. There is NO fighting it. All I remember is as soon as his thumb moved on the plunger, I was DONE. see ya later....
