what to do if you dont have ALL materials

It is the start of school. All excited . but I only have my first aid certification. My mask fit certification. And my stethoscope. I don't have my medical immunization done yet my drivers license my books and my police check yet. And school starts very soon like in a week time . do you think I'll b okay for now?

it could go either way, either they will not allow you to go to school or more than likely they won't allow you to do clinicals without immunization. to be safe though, DO IT ALL IMMEDIATELY. its definitely to your benefit to get them done before school then you can be focused on school work and reviewing the day's notes.

I definitely know they won't accept you without the background check. The immunizations come in second place. They're really strict about that. Even though the immunization is more for the clinical sites. But at MY school, you had to have all of that stuff in your file before bring accepted. I guess so they won't run into a situation like yours where you're running late on getting things done. Cause they may think well we could have given her seat to someone else! Not to say your lazy, but that's what they think. Good luck!

My program was VERY STRICT about having everything done by the deadline for the reasons stated by the previous posters. If you know you're not going to have everything submitted in time you should really call or email your program director ASAP explaining your situation and letting them know how you plan to get everything taken care of in a timely manner. Hopefully they'll be willing to work with you, but if you don't say anything and just show up on the first day hoping for the best it might not work out.
