Just curious but how long did it take you to complete all of the NC exams?
Best of Luck on the CPNE, keep us posted!

I had completed all my generals at my local cc before starting with EC and the NC exams. I took NC1 in October 2003 and my last one today--no repeats 2 B's and 5 A's. The first 2 (NC1&2) I found to be the most difficult and were the ones I got B's on. During this time period my father died and we had a move so there was about 2 months I didn't study or test at all. The last 2 exams I took (NC5&6) moved a little faster. I thought 6 was kind of a review of the content covered in earlier exams. The exams are tough but with studying very doable and fair. Are you in the program also Mona? Everyone on here has been supportive and helpful!

No I am not in the program yet. I hope to enroll next Spring when I am finished with DCN. Did you find that the NC exams overlapped your practical nursing program content?
Thanks for the info. Also, don't forget to check out all the boards for CPNE info.
It did overlap some on my PN program...but where i went to college for the PN we had to take A & P 1 &2 and developmental psych prior to even being admitted to the PN...this helped me especially understanding the PN content and later already having it out of the way for the ADN. The EC exams are more in depth than the PN program. They cover more labs, more disorders, more laws pertaining to professional nursing practice. Like I said they are not easy but can be accomplished IF studying is done!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! You're done with the hard stuff and now ready for the fun stuff! Seriously though, this is kind of exciting, don't you think? Finally you get to do what you have been hearing about for ages. It's your turn.
Sounds like you had a lot on your plate during your NC exams. Way to go on keeping with it--- that's just amazing to me!
We're all waiting for you at the finish line with our hands up ready to slap you a big ol' high 5!
