Does Kaplan really refund you, or offer you a free class, if you fail the nclex after using their program? I know that its stated on their website. But I just wanted to verify that there is someone who took the review course, and failed the nclex and was either reimbursed or took the Kaplan review course again for free. I read a message on here that Kaplan wouldn't refund someone.
How do you know if your school is covered under their 100% money back guarantee policy?

In my case, the answer is NO.. they have their reasons why they dont give refund nor free class.. they offered me to pay 50% of the review that i took (nclex-rn complete), i just told them that ill just think about it. If you need more info pls call their 1-800 number and ask them to connect you to a manager who handles refund.
I Have tried to have someone from Kaplan contact me about registering for their reviews for a month now. I sent an email from the site, and then I sent a thing for them to call me. I still haven't heard from them yet!
just call their 800 number. i think that'll be better..

When I did it last year, it wasn't a refund so much as enrollment in the next course they offered. And you had to fulfill a specific set of criteria, such as having attended all the in-person classes (attendance taken for this reason), having done all the online questions and tests. If you missed a class, or didn't complete all the questions, all the tests, there was nothing they were going to do for you (which kinda makes sense: if you're not going to do everything you were supposed to in the program to pass, they're not gonna take the fall for it). You also have to take the NCLEX within a certain time frame after completing their course (it's not a long time, as you can imagine) and submit all the details to them within 30 days of failing for consideration.
They claimed a 95% pass rate for first-time test takers as I recall, so they could afford to do it. There was one woman in my class who didn't pass the first time and was there on the "re-do". So they will offer you another shot, although I wouldn't call it a "100% money back guarantee". They don't guarantee you'll pass, only that if you don't pass the first time after taking their course for the first time, they'll "pay" to have you do it again. But if you fail a second time, all bets are off.

They do refund 100% if you meet their all criteria such as going to all of their classes and taking their diagnostic exams. i did not pass so i asked for money back, my friend is re-taking it for free with free q-bank. i guess it depends on which site you go to and how you convince them.
