Does the crying ever stop???

:bluecry1:I took the test yesterday (NCLEX-RN) with 75 questions. I totally feel like I failed. I must have been in shock yesterday because I didn't cry at all... I just shook a lot. Today is a different story. I seriously can't stop crying. My eyes feel like they are swollen shut. I just need to know either way... This is total torture.

im so sorry to hear this.. but just hang in there and know that most of the people who took the exam went thru what ur going thru right now..

I'm sorry you feel this way....!!!:redbeathe

The waiting is very hard, just try to rest and watch some tv or something you know will make you laugh, or just do some spring cleaning to get your mind away from all this and watch something that will make you laugh! The last two day has been very difficult for me, but I cleaned my house...actually I think I made a bigger mess, and I also went online to watch "Flavor of Love 3":sofahider.....its the kinda show that burns time and really makes me laugh...

There is no thinking involve in laughing.....trust me by about 2am.....I was zonked out....and awoke the next morning ready to be a nurse, you will too:redbeathe:nurse::redbeathe

Ummmm... Helllloooo? Rock of Love is only the greatest show ever!!!!! It's so funny to watch a bunch of hookers fight over a washed up rock star... Priceless! Thanks for the laugh hun... I needed it!

Ugh, I hate to admit it, but Rock of Love is pretty entertaining...Can't wait to see what the ugly blonde skinny hooker is hiding next...

:heartbeati know how you feel but hang in there, its hard at first, but with time you gain strength, 2nd times a charm

i took mine today, feel exactly the same way, plus its my second time, but for the PN, dont doubt yourself, you made it through rn school, which is no piece of cake, if it was than we would have more nurses instead of a shortage. The world needs you, so hang in there. Anything worth having, is worth a struggle.

Positive vibes coming your way, I hope you passed. best wishes and good luck!!!:redpinkhe

Think of it this way- you are the same person you were before you took NCLEX-don't let a test dictate how you feel about yourself. If you passed GREAT!!!, if you flunked- it's just one more obsticle you need to negotiate before becoming an RN-life goes on much as it did before you took the test. At this point you have jumped through a lot of hoops to get where you are at. If it takes taking the exam twice to get your RN it's only a minor inconvenience compaired to what you have put up with the last 4-5yrs. There are lots of threads in AN about passing NCLEX-read them. Then try to take it in stride. A lawyer friend of mine told me it's not uncommon for people to take BAR exam 2-3 times before they pass- it's expected. I don't know how true that is, but what I do know is some of the best nurses I've ever worked with failed the first time through. If you failed-it was just a practice exam to help you be prepaired for when you take the real thing next time.
