Isabella, how long did it take for you to get accepted into nursing school? Did you get in on the first try?

No, It's not :D

And yes, it does! I love it! Unfortunately all of my school's nursing faculty isn't listed, but a good majority of them are. I also use pickaprof.com :)

Helped me get through pre-reqs.

I think it is great tool & I've used it every semester that I've been in school. I credit it with helping me find some of the best instructors on campus! Also - in avoiding some of the worst! I'm always a little nervous when a class I'm taking doesn't have any instructor reviews... I've gotten spoiled!

My daughter told me about this site. I've used it twice now and found it to be fairly helpful. With one instructor though it seemed as if the comments were off-base. I think it is a good idea as long as raters are serious about their ratings and not just trying to spout off. Back in the old days before the internet when I was on my first go around, we could buy a printed directory-style ratings volume for just our school. As I recall the ratings were all statistical, with no comments.

just found bad info about a future teacher.... OMG !!!

I did get a bad professor once though. He got good reviews but thats cause he was obscenely easy and incompetent. The class was a joke and had it not fulfilled a GE, it would have been a complete waste of time. I still regret taking it though.

I use it every semester and plan my schedule around teachers who get good ratings (whenever possible) It has helped me quite a bit and I make sure to rate every professor I've had at the end of the semester. If anything, I have found that students at my school are too hard on certain profs. My biology prof had mixed reviews, with a lot of students saying his exams were impossible and made no sense. Huh, that's funny cause I got an A in the class and didn't do more than go to class every day, take good notes and study for several hours before each test :wink2:
