Do anyone have tips on finding time to study for he NCLEX

hello everyone,

i'm doing suzzane's plan right now. i try to find time to study for my boards, but it's so hard. i'm a mother of three and work full-time. i know that i can do anything that i put my mind too. when i get home i start dinner and when i finally put them to bed i'm exhausted to even pick up a book. i know by passing this test it will help my family a great deal. just wanted to know if any other parents have these barriers, and how did they over come with them?

I am a mother of 2 and can absolutely understand the time restraints.....graduated in August, 2008 8 months pregnant with my 2nd son and worked full time. Had my son and could find no time to study..........couldn't even open my eyes let alone study with a newborn. Took the Nclex in Nov. and failed with 75 questions.......yeah.......75 questions....devastated. I was then determined to make time to study even if it killed me. Instead of taking naps when he napped.....I did as many questions on the disc included with the study books........I found that taking the tests on the computer was so much faster than paging through the books. You can also use the studying tool included with in the CDs. It may sound simple......but I would take every minute that I could get. Then when my son started sleeping through the night......I would force myself to stay up atleast an hour after he went to bed. Within that hour i could get in about 4 or 5 10-question quizzes. Also trying to find a babysitter for an hour or 2 truly helps.........I know its hard but hang in there. Retook the NCLEX in February 2009 and passed with 75 questions!!!!!!! All the sacrafice truly pays off in the end. :D
