Do anyone know of any programs that will help with funding for nursing students I am in

I am a single parent of 3and I am in desperate need of financial help with finances dealing with school I drive 1hr 20 minutes to school 4 days a week and I have been using my child support to get by so far and it's getting really challenging for me and if you have any information on scholarship information I would greatly appreciate it as well. PLEASE HELP...thanks in advance

Start with your school financial aid office. Some schools have student funds to assist with excessive daily expenses but are administered by the financial aid office as FA already has verified your situation. Many scholarships are not eligible to be used for travel & living expenses and are limited to tuition & fees or tuition, fees, books/required supplies and room & board paid to school (room & board = dorm living/campus housing & meal plan)

I tried with the school but they said I can only get FA for 6 years and I have exceeded that time and I need it for tuition and books I have no problem getting to the school

Are you eligible for student loans?

Type "nursing school scholarships" into Google and you'll get a wealth of information on what scholarships you may qualify for. Also, look into private student loans if you are desperate but just know you really shouldn't take out more loans (as in total amount at the end of your degree, not a year) than you will make your first year as a nurse.
