distance learning BSN programs

Published

I will be graduating in June of 2006 with my diploma as an RN....I am going to continue my studies right away and am looking into doing an online BSN course so that I can work full time, any shift, and still go to school full-time...I was looking into West Virginia University's online RN-BSN program, but am worried about how many of my credits will transfer(some are from community college, some from a major university). Does anyone know of some good programs that I can do in two or three semesters? Thanks!

I will graduate in 2006 as well...and have been looking at the University of South Alabama's RN to BSN online program...Three semesters for the professional portion. Tuition is reasonable too.

Here is a link to their website:

Specializes in Med-Surg.

Florida Hospital College Of Health Sciences has an NLN approved RN to BSN program that take diploma students. I'm starting in January so I can't give good feedback just yet, and I'm an ADN graduate, so I think the requirements to get in are a little different for the Diploma grad.

It's 100% online, with no clinicals, except for instances where you use your own job for research etc.

Good luck!

Look into Brenau University in Atlanta and Jacksonville University in Jacksonville Florida.

This website might also be useful : http://www.allnursingschools.com/

Although, it doesn't necessarily have all schools on it.

Good luck

Doesn't this program require students to have a Florida license??
