difference between nclex in certain states?

Is this true that the NCLEX is easier in other states than others? I'm hearing that the nclex is easier in places such as Hawaii. But that doesn't make sense. Why would that be the case? Isn't the test standardized throughout the U.S?

100% untrue. NCLEX is a federal test - states do not individualize it.

It's not easier in some states, but you do have to wait longer for your results in some states.

Back in the day, State Boards were regulated by each state, and the difficulty could vary pretty significantly.

If I recall, New York and California had Board exams that would give people stomach cramps and nightmares.

The upside was that your results were accepted by the other 48 states without question and you could get a license in any one of them, because if you passed California or New York, you had exceeded the requirements of the other states.

Now, NCLEX is federally overseen, so it is standardized.
